Logistics & distribution teams

Teams planning and executing warehousing, fleet, last-mile distribution and returns in complex environments.

Procurement & inventory teams

Operations & supply chain gaps we help you close

We focus on the friction points that cost time, money and customer trust—while giving your teams practical tools to resolve them.

Stock-outs and excess inventory

Frequent shortages for critical items, overstock of slow movers and limited visibility of true demand and safety stock needs.

Unreliable deliveries & cycle times

Orders that take too long, arrive incomplete or vary widely in timing, making it hard to plan production and service.

Fragmented processes & handoffs

Teams working in silos, unclear ownership of key steps and no clear, documented view of end-to-end process flows.

Limited performance measurement

KPIs that are either missing, misaligned or not trusted—making it difficult to track, diagnose and improve operational performance.

How our Operations & Supply Chain programmes run

We combine process thinking, data, practical tools and scenario work to help teams design and run operations that are both efficient and resilient.

Step 1

End-to-end process mapping

We work with your teams to map how orders, materials and information actually move across your value chain—from demand capture to delivery.

Demand, capacity & inventory fundamentals

We equip teams with core concepts—such as demand variability, lead times, capacity constraints and safety stock—using practical, non-technical examples.

FAQs

Clear answers to common questions about CICL Operations & Supply Chain programmes.

Can we focus on just one part of the value chain?

Yes. While we can design end-to-end programmes, many organisations begin with a priority area such as warehousing, last-mile logistics or S&OP and then expand over time.

Do you need access to our sites or facilities?

Site visits are helpful but not always essential. We can work with process maps, photos, videos and virtual walk-throughs where physical access is not possible or practical.

How long do Operations & Supply Chain programmes typically last?

Duration depends on scope. Short bootcamps may run for 1–3 days, while academies and cohort programmes can span several weeks or months with spaced sessions.

Can you support multi-site or multi-country operations?

Yes. We can design programmes that bring together representatives from different sites or regions and then support local implementation and adaptation as needed.

Do you integrate with our existing improvement initiatives?

Where there are ongoing lean, TPM or digital initiatives, we design our approach to reinforce and complement those efforts rather than duplicate them.

What are the next steps if we are interested?

We begin with a discovery conversation to understand your operations, current pain points and strategic priorities. From there, we propose a focused set of modules, formats and impact metrics.

Data Protection

Operational data can be sensitive—covering suppliers, costs, volumes and customer patterns. Any information shared with CICL during training or advisory work is treated as confidential and handled with care.

Where possible, we encourage the use of anonymised, masked or synthetic data in exercises. Access to any real operational data is restricted to authorised CICL consultants working directly on your engagement.

Training materials, process maps and case examples that reference your environment are stored securely for the agreed duration of our work and follow-up. After this period, they are removed from our active systems unless otherwise agreed.

Our goal is to help you strengthen operations without compromising confidentiality or exposing commercially sensitive information.
